Home project review
Can I do it?
What might it cost?
Where do I start?
An ADU for family. A garage you could put to better use. More space, or a home that works better for you.
Before paying for full design, let’s work through what your project could take.

What you receive
A clearer decision before a bigger investment.
- 01
A visit to your property
Up to 90 minutes to talk through one project idea, observe existing conditions, and take relevant measurements and photos.
- 02
An early budget range
A planning range with assumptions explained, including likely costs beyond the construction itself.
- 03
A written roadmap
Practical options, visible constraints, preliminary property-record and planning checks, questions for specialists, and the recommended next phase.
- 04
A walkthrough together
A 20-minute review of your roadmap, with one consolidated round of clarification.
The questions you may not know to ask yet.
Existing structure, utility needs, access, city requirements, and specialist fees can affect the direction and budget. We flag what is visible and what needs checking. Sometimes the useful answer is to revise the idea or investigate one question before spending more.
What happens after the visit?
Your written roadmap is targeted within five business days of the visit and receipt of needed information. The remaining $425 is due when the roadmap is ready, before our walkthrough.
Drawings, engineering, surveys, permit applications, approvals, and construction are separate. This is a preliminary contractor review, with planning estimates rather than a guaranteed construction price.
Your next step
Tell us what you have in mind.
For homeowners considering an ADU, garage or basement conversion, addition, or major remodel in the Seattle area. We’ll review your request and confirm whether this is a useful starting point.
Submitting requests a conversation. It does not charge you or book a visit.
